Bulk Update Requests
A bulk update request (BUR) is a proposal to change a lot of posts at once — creating a tag alias, a tag implication, or mass-renaming a tag.
Because these changes touch every post carrying the tag, they are not applied directly. They are posted for discussion and then carried out by a moderator.
How to make one
Open a request from Bulk update requests and say plainly what you want changed and why. A request with a clear reason gets approved much faster than one without.
Common commands
- @create alias tag_a -> tag_b@
- @create implication tag_a -> tag_b@
- @remove alias tag_a -> tag_b@
- @remove implication tag_a -> tag_b@
