Messages (Dmail)

Dmail is the site's private messaging system. Messages are private between you and the person you send them to, though moderators can read them when investigating a report.

Sending

Open a user's profile and choose to send a message, or go to Messages.

Guidelines

• The community rules apply to private messages too. Harassment in a Dmail is still harassment.
• Do not send unsolicited advertising or spam.
• If someone messages you abusively, report it — do not answer in kind.

You can block messages from a user, and you can turn on email notifications for new messages in Settings.
