    Uploading

Before you upload anything, please read the Upload Rules — they cover what's allowed on this site and the tagging standards below in more detail.

    How to upload

Go to Posts > Upload. You can either paste a URL (from Twitter, Pixiv, and other supported sites) or choose/drag a file directly from your computer. Set a rating (see Content Ratings), add a source if you know it, and tag the post before submitting.

    Tag categories

Every tag belongs to a category, shown by its color in the tag list. When you type a tag for the first time, you can force which category it becomes by prefixing it:

    • character: — a specific character, e.g. character:samarie. Colored green.
    • copyright: — the series/game/franchise the work is from, e.g. copyright:fear_and_hunger_termina. Colored purple.
    • artist: — the artist who made the piece, e.g. artist:miro_haverinen. Colored red/orange. This also links the tag to that artist's profile page.
    • meta: — structural/technical info about the file itself rather than its content, e.g. meta:official_art, meta:highres, meta:translated. Colored yellow.
    • general: — everything else: outfits, poses, objects, expressions, etc, e.g. general:2girls, general:smile. This is also the default if you don't use a prefix at all.

You only need the prefix the first time a tag is created. After that, the site already knows its category, so just typing the plain tag name (no prefix) works and it'll be colored correctly automatically.

    Ship-specific tags

For samarina (the Samarie/Marina ship), tag both characters individually (samarie and marina_domek) plus the ship tag samarina itself — it's set up to imply the individual character tags automatically, so you technically only need to add samarina and the characters will be added on their own. Still tag both characters directly if you already know them, it doesn't hurt.
