Notes

A note is a translation box placed on top of a post. They are used to translate speech bubbles, signs, and captions in comics and illustrations.

Adding notes

Open a post and switch on the note editor, then draw a box over the text you want to translate and type the translation into it.

Guidelines

• Put the box over the text it translates, sized to roughly cover it.
• Translate faithfully. Do not add jokes or your own commentary.
• One box per speech bubble or block of text.
• If a post is fully translated, tag it @translated@. If it still needs work, tag it @translation_request@.

Notes are collaborative — anyone can improve a translation, and every change is kept in the note history.
